the same condition exists at the transition from the entry concrete to the pathway by area 3. Carina had an idea but I can't quite remember the details. Considering the slope, this will be a constant maintenance issue with decomposed granite spilling onto the concrete.

I think maintenance will be to a small degree an issue at this particular location. We are working on a detail with the contractor to minimize maintenance requirements.
